Nifty online calculator that will work out what your after tax income is.

This pay calculator tool is very handy when you are trying to do your monthly budget and cashflows. I’ve been playing around with it and because you can see exactly what is coming out of your pay and what for, it is a great budget forecasting tool. I know I have about one more year of HECS student debt to pay so I can toggle the HECS component off and see how much more disposable income I would be getting once it was all paid off.

Combine the pay calculator with pocket smith and you have a very powerful budgeting tool at your disposal.
